Abercrombie & Associates, Inc. Receives New SBE Certifications

We are pleased to announce that Abercrombie & Associates, Inc. recently was registered as a Federal Small Business Enterprise via the Central Contractor Registration (www.bpn.gov/ccr/) under the Engineering Services & Surveying/Mapping classifications. In addition, our firm is now qualified as a SBE with both Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati & also with Hamilton County. This provides our firm the opportunity to perform these services on projects that have a desire for SBE participation.

New CPESC Qualification

We now have a Professional Engineer (PE) who is also a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) to develop Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and perform SWPPP inspections. Our PE-CPESC individuals meet the requirements of ODOT Supplemental Specification 832. Current Projects

CitiRama 2010 — Rockford Woods

Infrastructure construction for Rockford Woods, Phase II was completed this past December for this new 36-lot subdivision in the Northside Community of Cincinnati. Abercrombie & Associates, Inc. provided necessary land surveying/mapping, site design and construction administration services for this project, which will be home to the 9th CitiRama presented by Homebuilders Association of Greater Cincinnati from June 3rd to June 13th. Cincinnati Public Schools – Woodford Paideia Academy

Cincinnati Public Schools has awarded the construction contract for Woodford Paideia Critical Thinking Academy on Red Bank Road. Demolition is to begin Winter 2010 with substantial completion by Fall 2011. Abercrombie & Associates, Inc. provided site and infrastructure design for this project, coordinating closely with the lead architect, MEP and landscape architect. This is one of several CPS schools we are currently working on with GBBN Architects. Visit GBBN's website at www.gbbn.com.
